Food Safety Management
Quality Control and Diagnostic Lab
With “excellence in quality” being the foremost objective at Emirates Modern Poultry Co., Al Rawdah Quality Control and Diagnostic Laboratory plays a very important role in the production process. The laboratory is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality end products of the processing plant and various range of products of the food plant from the hygiene point of view. Apart from this, the laboratory is also responsible for maintaining all the bio-security levels for the broiler farms and hatchery during and after the production process to produce safe and high quality Al Rawdah products. The department also conducts frequent hygiene training courses for all the company staff involved in the prodution.

Environmental Policy
The management and staff of EMPCO are committed to the protection of human health, natural resources and the environment, for that purpose we are dedicated to established and implement appropriate system for our operation.
The EMPCO environment policy shall be considered fully in the setting and review of our operation in the aim of achieving full compliance in adherence to the law and regulation being imposed by the Dubai Government. Utilizing the best available technology, where economically viable to demonstrate our ability in acquiring better results in the monitoring of our environmental performance.
Empco’s environmental policy guides us in striving to a more comprehensive research in eliminating harmful pathogen population on the farm, pollution control, reduction of waste product and recycling whenever possible and the continuous study and research for the conservation of natural and energy resources

Elimination of harmful pathogen population in the farm
Reduction in the emission to air and waste minimization and to prevent pollution in all operation.
Optimizing of resource utilization
Disposal of all waste in accordance with the local and federal regulations
Conservation of energy and recycle of materials
Continually monitor and assess our impact on environment in normal and in emergency situation.
Set guidelines for service and product to be used in our operation
Improving employee awareness by education and training to ensure contribution and active participation to our policy.
Designate management responsibility to establish, monitor and report on the effective implementation of our environment policy.
Food Safety Policy
Emirates Modern Poultry management and staff are committed in the production of quality premium poultry products and providing safe food to food chain and to its customer and to the acknowledgement of customer satisfaction
The management and staff are determined in providing quality rearing, maintaining cleanliness and objectively minimizing product total bacterial count.
Adhering and implementing Local and Federal regulation, and providing measure to minimize the adverse effects of operation on the Food chain by way of proper and continuous improvement and implementation to Food Safety Management programs
Our objectives in maintaining Food Safety Management Assurance Certification in accordance with ISO 2200 Standards and HACCP Standards leads us to strive to develop our process for more efficiency and better performance through acquiring feasible, practical ,continuous research of state of the art technology and implementation of new techniques and discoveries whenever possible.
The member and staff are advised and communicated on the Food Safety Management programs and their part in attaining the objectives, using various cost effective ways. EMPCO management and staff are encourage in the continuous improvement in addressing Food Safety Issues.
